A Way of Praying for Fleet

Take a map of your town and place it in front of you. As you gaze at the map, allow God to draw tour attention to a particular street. Ask Him how to pray for your town.

Our town needs us to have spiritual insight in order to defeat the enemies we often do not see. We need to ask God to reveal and bind the spiritual strongholds of evil within a town so that His power can enter and the people there have an opportunity to come to faith.

As you look at the map, allow God to increase your heart for the area God has highlighted. Allow Him to use you to stand in the gap and pray! Listen to His promptings, which may come with a sense of urgency to pray for a place or person, or simply by being reminded of places when you see them on the map. Ask Gods forgiveness for all that displeases Him in the town and the activities which go on there which break His heart. Pray for His mercy and that there will be a breakthrough.

Keep an open heart and mind as you pray, allowing Him to direct and guide you. Open your ears to hear His voice showing you things that you do not know so that you can pray into them. It is amazing what God will show us if we ask Him!
